Yip has been practicing patent prosecution since 2006. He offers comprehensive technical expertise including patent prosecution and intellectual property counseling. Yip has experience in technology fields that include: volatile and non-volatile semiconductor memories, microprocessor cores, network search engines, digital and analog circuits, signal transmission systems, content addressable memory (CAM) devices, data communications and networking, and consumer electronic devices. Previously, Yip worked as a patent attorney at Mahamedi Paradice LLP in Campbell, CA.
Yip received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006, where he was inducted into both Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu engineering honor societies. He received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2012, where he earned a Graduate Certificate in Entertainment Law for his completion of various intellectual property courses.
Yip is admitted to practice in the state of California and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
